We know that not everyone wants to sit down and answer a full survey to get a benefits recommendation. That's why we built personas: a faster way into your personalized recommendation, built around real, common patterns in how people use care, manage their finances, and live their lives.
When you start Nayya, you can choose between two paths. You can take the full survey, which walks through your health needs, your finances, and your plans for the year in detail. Or you can select a persona, a short profile that describes someone whose situation looks a lot like yours, such as The Saver, Supporting My Family, or Managing a Chronic Condition. Picking a persona gives you a recommendation right away, without answering every survey question yourself.
Here's how it works:
- When you reach the persona screen, read through the profiles and pick the one that sounds the most like you.
- We'll combine that profile with a few facts you provide directly, like your age, income, and who you're covering, to generate your recommendation.
- Your recommendation appears right away. You won't need to answer additional survey questions.
A persona is a starting point, not a fixed answer. Your recommendation still reflects your own demographics, so two people who pick the same persona can end up with different recommended plans depending on their age, income, or dependents. That's by design. It means your recommendation stays personal to you, even on the faster path.
Once you have your recommendation, the experience is exactly the same whether you got there through a persona or the full survey. You can compare plans, see the estimated cost range on medical benefits, and proceed to enrollment the same way either time.
If none of the profiles feel like a good fit, that's okay. At the bottom of the persona screen, select None of these sound like me and you'll be directed to the survey instead. You won't be able to create a custom persona, but the survey will ask you a few questions directly, it takes just 5–10 minutes, and gets you a recommendation tailored to your specific situation.
One important thing to know: once you get a recommendation through a persona, it isn't editable. If you have a specific medical need or personal detail you want Nayya to factor in, like an upcoming surgery or a condition that affects your care needs, take the full survey instead. That's the only path that lets us account for those details directly.
A quick reminder as you move forward: Nayya recommends the plan that fits you best, but your employer's benefits administration system is where you'll officially enroll. You can find that link directly in Nayya once you're ready.
