Your Nayya recommendation is personalized to you. Here's how we come up with it, how to see the reasons behind it, and what to do if it's confusing or isn't what you expected.
Your personal information: we consider factors like your salary, expected medical utilization, and prescription medication usage to understand your health and financial situation.
Your benefits data: we take into account the specific plans your employer offers and how each plan's structure affects what you'd actually pay out of pocket.
By combining those two inputs, we suggest the plan that offers the best balance of coverage and affordability for your situation. It's a suggestion, not a requirement. If it's different from the plan you have now or the one you expected, that's okay, and the final choice is always yours.
To see why we recommended a plan:
- On your recommendation, find the benefit you want to look into, like Healthcare or Dental and Vision.
- Click Expand to learn more under the recommended plan. The plan expands to show its details and the reasons we recommended it for you.
For the full plan details, see I want to learn more about a specific plan or benefit.
To compare the recommended plan with your other options, click Compare Plans in the top right corner of that benefit's section. You can also view every plan available to you in that benefit within the Recommendation Detail section on the left-hand panel. For a walkthrough, see Comparing Benefits Plans in Nayya.
If you think a survey answer doesn't match your situation, you can re-take the survey. See How to change an answer on your Nayya survey. When you finish, you'll see a new recommendation based on your updated answers.
If you see Personas in the left-hand panel, you can select one for a quicker path to a personalized recommendation. Personas can also appear on the welcome screen if you want to go back to it.
Your recommendation isn't editable within Nayya. We keep it that way so you always have one clear, dependable starting point, since Nayya makes a recommendation and your company's enrollment platform is where you make it official. When you make your elections there, you can follow our recommendation, choose a different plan, or waive a benefit. Your employer's plan offerings can also change from year to year, so a plan you have now can look different, or be missing, in your options for the new plan year. If you'd like a second opinion, your HR team or benefits administrator can tell you whether your employer offers a benefits helpline or advisor.
Once you've reviewed your recommendation, download a PDF summary to reference and head to your company's enrollment platform to make your elections official.
